LOC Joins the LNG-MFI

LOC is delighted to announce that it has become the latest member to join the LNG Marine Fuel Institute (LNG-MFI).

LOC is an independent marine and engineering consultancy and survey organisation, providing high quality services to the marine industry which was originally established in London in 1979. Since then LOC has grown into an international, multi-disciplinary organisation, with a team comprising over 400 professionally qualified personnel and offices across the World including of course Australia, where the company has had a 30-year presence, with offices in Perth and Sydney.

Thanks to the LOC team’s technical expertise and hands-on experience, LOC has become a recognised industry leader in supporting their global clients in tackling urgent, complex and emerging challenges across the international shipping, oil & gas, renewables and marine assurance sectors. LOC’s joining of the LNG-MFI aims to continue this trend in supporting the industry with transition and development into new LNG technologies.

Adam Solomons, LOC Australia’s Managing Director said on the joining of the institute; “like the LNG-MFI, LOC believes in the Australian market. As we have for the last 30 years, we look forward to continuing to support the local energy and marine sectors by taking a leading role with the Institute in crafting the development of LNG as a marine fuel with Australia”.

Alex Harrison, LOC’s Asia Pacific Regional Director added “The green corridor of LNG fuels in to Asia aligns with LOC’s long term strategy of being at the forefront of technological development and the move towards a cleaner future throughout the region and we look forward to supporting the MFI in this venture through our network of regional offices”.
